My brother Richard loves coconut and I made this cake for his birthday.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of coconut
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 oz
    cool whip
  • 1 pkg
    sweetened flaked coconut

How to Make Coconut Poke Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Make the yellow cake mix as package directions and bake in a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix the cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk.
  3. When cake is done, poke holes in cake with skewer. Pour the condensed milk mixture over the cake evenly until all is used.
  4. Let the cake cool. Mix the coconut and cool whip and spread over the cake. Chill all leftovers.
