Ingredients

BATTER

3 c
all purpose flour
1 c
granulated sugar
4 tsp
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/2 c
milk
2 large
eggs
2 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1/2 c
butter, melted

TOPPING

1 c
butter, room temperature (very softened)
1 c
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
2 Tbsp
cinnamon
1/2 c
raisins

GLAZE

2 c
powdered sugar
4-5 Tbsp
milk
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract

How to Make CINNAMON RAISIN CAKE

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large bowl, mix together, well, all of the batter ingredients, except melted butter.
  • 2Slowly add in melted butter and mix well.
  • 3Pour batter into a greased 9"x13" pan.
  • 4In separate bowl, mix all topping ingredients (except raisins) together until combined; mix in raisins.
  • 5Drop topping onto prepared batter and swirl with a butter knife or chopstick.
  • 6Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 40 minutes.
  • 7Remove cake from oven and mix glaze ingredients in separate bowl.
  • 8While cake is still warm, slowly drizzle glaze over top. Let stand 15 mins before cutting/serving.
  • 9Store, covered with plastic wrap, at room temperature.
