This tastes like gourmet cinnamon raisin rolls without the all the work. Everyone who has tried it goes crazy for it!

Ingredients

  • BATTER
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature (very softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • GLAZE
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4-5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

How To Make cinnamon raisin cake

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix together, well, all of the batter ingredients, except melted butter.
  • Step 2
    Slowly add in melted butter and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Pour batter into a greased 9"x13" pan.
  • Step 4
    In separate bowl, mix all topping ingredients (except raisins) together until combined; mix in raisins.
  • Step 5
    Drop topping onto prepared batter and swirl with a butter knife or chopstick.
  • Step 6
    Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 40 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Remove cake from oven and mix glaze ingredients in separate bowl.
  • Step 8
    While cake is still warm, slowly drizzle glaze over top. Let stand 15 mins before cutting/serving.
  • Step 9
    Store, covered with plastic wrap, at room temperature.
