chocolate mocha ice box cake
This is one of my mother's recipes from the 1950's. It is so good and so easy to make. I made a few changes to kind of bring it up to date, but not to many. Lol Another recipe I think will be easy to use with different ingredients.

Ingredients
- YOU WILL NEED A 8" SPRING FORM PAN
- 12 ounces mascarpone cheese room temp or cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur like kahlua
- 4 tablespoons espresso powder, instant
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 boxes 12oz. chocolate chip cookies
- 1 - chocolate candy bar for chocolate curls
How To Make chocolate mocha ice box cake

Step 1In a large bowl mix on low cheese, cocoa, sugar, heavy cream, coffee, liqueur, and vanilla until well mixed.

Step 2Then beat on high until very thick and comes to stiff peaks.

Step 3That's it, how easy is that.

Step 4Now line the bottom of your pan with your cookies breaking the cookies to fill in holes.

Step 5Now spoon 1/4th of cream filling over cookies.

Step 6Do 3 more layers ending with cream mixture.

Step 7Smooth the top. Cover and refrigerate over night

Step 8When ready to serve uncover and run a knife around edge. Remove the pan.

Step 9Put chocolate curls on top. Enjoy
