This frosting is good and creamy. The alcohol is not over powering ... adds very nice flavor. We used a boxed cake mix when making the cupcakes. This was a nice treat in the Test Kitchen!

Ingredients

3 ozwhipping cream

1 ozgodiva chocolate liqueur

1 ozvanilla vodka

2 lbpowdered sugar

1/2 ccocoa, unsweetened

8 ozcream cheese
How to Make Chocolate Martini Frosting
- Combined heavy whipping cream, chocolate liqueur & vanilla vodka.
Set aside these liquids.
Sift cocoa powder and 3 cups powdered sugar in large bowl - Beat cream cheese until softened,
Alternately add about a cup of the chocolate-powdered sugar and then an ounce of the liquids until all the cocoa mixture is blended. Now begin adding the plain powdered sugar. - You may choose to add only enough of the martini liquid to incorporate all 3 cups of the cocoa- powdered sugar; this will result in a less sweet icing and some of the chocolate martini will be left over.
OR, Continue alternately adding the remainder of martini an ounce at a time & the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until frosting is as thick as desired
