Once you try this frosting. You will never use canned frosting again. Simply the best chocolate frosting I've ever eaten. It is better not to refrigerate this frosting. It loses some of it's creaminess.

Ingredients
- 6 ounces semi sweet chocolate pieces
- 3/4 stick unsalted butter
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How To Make chocolate frosting

Step 1Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave. Heating 30 seconds at a time and stirring after each 30 seconds. When smooth, set aside to cool.

Step 2Put powdered sugar in food processor. Pulse a couple times to get rid of lumps.

Step 3Add butter and chocolate mixture. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth. Generously frosts a 9 x 13 cake or a 3 layer nine inch round cake.
