Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 11/4 teaspoons vanilla

How To Make chocolate cupcakes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • Step 2
    Whisk almond milk and vinegar in a measuring cup and set aside a few minutes to curdle.
  • Step 3
    Beat together milk, oil, sugar and vanilla. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, bakinf powder and baking soda and mix until there are no lumps.
  • Step 4
    Fill cupcakes two-thirds of the way and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Transfer to cooling racks and let cool before frosting.
