Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3 tablespoons spry (crisco)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1-1/4 cup sifted confectionary sugar

How To Make caramel frosting

  • Step 1
    Combine brown sugar spry (Crisco Shortening), butter and salt in saucepan and bring to boil, stirring occasionally, Add milk and cook over low heat 3 minutes, Cool, add confectionary sugar and beat until thick enough to spread.
