Ingredients

  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3 Tbsp
    spry (crisco)
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1-1/4 c
    sifted confectionary sugar

How to Make Caramel Frosting

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine brown sugar spry (Crisco Shortening), butter and salt in saucepan and bring to boil, stirring occasionally, Add milk and cook over low heat 3 minutes, Cool, add confectionary sugar and beat until thick enough to spread.
