Very old family recipe. So good. Not to sweet,for just a warm snack or great with coffee. I love to have it warm in the morning with my coffee.

Ingredients
- BOTTOM
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 - egg well beaten
- 2 cups flour sifted
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups blueberries
- TOP
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
How To Make blueberry buckle

Step 1bake on 350. grease 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch pan

Step 2thoroughly cream shortening and 1/2 cup sugar; add egg and mix well.

Step 3sift 2 cups flour,baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

Step 4Pour into well greased pan. Sprinkle blueberries over batter.

Step 5Combine 1/2 cup sugar,1/2 cup flour, cinnamon,and butter till crumbly; sprinkle over blueberries

Step 6Bake 45 to 50 min, cut into squares,serve warm
