Banana Walnut Bread Pudding with Caramel Glaze

iris mccall

This bread pudding came to fruition because of my sweet tooth, a box of banana nut muffin mix, some seriously overripe bananas and cleaning out my fridge, (lots of stale bread. Came out yummy, I hope you enjoy.

How to Make Banana Walnut Bread Pudding with Caramel Glaze

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Gather ingredients, large mixing bowl, and 13x9 pyrex dish.
  2. Empty box muffin mix and all dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Then add wet ingredients mixing well. I let batter rest 10 minutes.
  3. Pour batter into buttered 13x9 baking dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until you see batter pulling away from sides of dish.
  4. Heat milnot over medium heat stirring frequently until it turns to caramel.
  5. Remove breadpudding from oven and while still warm pour caramel over top a little at a time, allowing it to soak in. I did mine ,using a plastic glove, and gently massaged it in with my fingers until it was at the consistency I wanted.
