Original recipe was from a can of Lucky Leaf applesauce, so it's an oldie but goodie!

  • CAKE

  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 c
    cinnamon applesauce
  • 1/2 c
  • 4
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 c
    raisins (soaked for 5 minutes in boiling water and drained)

  • 1/4 c
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Applesauce Swirl Cake


  1. Combine first 6 ingredients and beat for 2 minutes. Stir in raisins.
  2. Pour into a well greased bundt pan.
  3. Sprinkle sugar-cinnamon mixture over batter and swirl through batter with a knife to achieve a marbled effect in the finished cake.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until cakes tests done with a toothpick inserted in center.
  5. Cool for 10 minutes and turn onto rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioner's sugar.
