Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 12 oz
    (1 lg. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts (optional)

How to Make YUMMY TOLL HOUSE BARS

Step-by-Step

  1. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add egg; beat well.
  2. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Spread into a lightly greased 9x13x2" pan. Bake in a 375-degree oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
