all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt

(2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c
sugar
3/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp
vanilla
2 large
eggs
12 oz
(1 lg. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c
chopped nuts (optional)

How to Make YUMMY TOLL HOUSE BARS

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add egg; beat well.
  • 2Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  • 3Spread into a lightly greased 9x13x2" pan. Bake in a 375-degree oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
