Don't let the name scare you ! And it is not a pie!
These cookies are very popular and are sold al over WI.
Once you try one you will be hooked. The Cow pie, which is like a chocolate turtle but the size of a thick burger patty!
It's equal to about 5 or 6 candy turtles, but can be eaten in 1 "meal" if you're a real chocolate lover

How to Make ORIGNAL WI. COW PIE....clone

Step-by-Step

  1. In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring till smooth.
    Remove from heat, stir in raisins and nuts.
    Drop by Tablespoons onto wax paper.
    Chill till set.
  2. Can be wrapped individually,
    and frozen for a later snack or gift.
    Made in Baraboo, WI.
    Don't leave WI. with out a couple..
    These are to die for!
