Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon each: salt, cinnamon, nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (not pie mix)
- 1/2 cup canola or other salad oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped nuts, such as walnuts or pecans
How To Make whole wheat pumpkin cookies

Step 1Mix soda, baking powder, salt and spices with flour. Combine sugar, pumpkin, oil and vanilla. Stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in raisins and nuts until evenly mixed

Step 2Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes.
