Ingredients

  • 2 cups organic pure cane sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 ounces mini semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup)

How To Make whole wheat chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
    heat oven to 375 deg F. In a large bowl, stir in sugar,butter,vanilla and egg until well blended. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in Chocolate Chips.
  • Step 2
    On ungreased cookie shee, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
  • Step 3
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown (center will be soft). Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Makes 3 dozen cookies
