I have no idea how these cookies got their name, but they taste a lot like coconut macaroon cookies. They are a favorite of my best friend, Scooter.

  • 2 c
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 c
    coconut flakes
  • 1 stick
  • 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 pt
    marshmallow creme topping
  • 2 c
    graham cracker crumbs

How to Make Viet Nam Cookies


  1. Mix and cook sugar, milk, and margarine slowly for 8 - 10 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir.
  3. Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper.
