I got this recipe when going to Bible school at Goodwill Baptist Church. We incorporated this recipe into our craft project. It is one of the first recipes that I ever followed. It is still a favorite, bringing back many happy childhood memories.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons hershey's cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
How To Make uncooked cookies

Step 1Combine the sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter in a saucepan.

Step 2Bring to a rolling boil. Continue to boil for two minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat and add peanut butter, extracts, and nuts. Stir to blend.

Step 4Add the oats and stir.

Step 5Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Work quickly as ingredients harden fast.
