1 3/4 call-purpose flour
1/2 tspbaking soda
3/4 cunsalted butter, melted
1/2 cpacked dark brown sugar
2 tspvanilla extract
1large egg yolk
1 csemi-sweet chocolate chips
How to Make Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies!
- Whisk flour, salt, and baking soda together in medium bowl; set aside.
- Mix together both sugars and vanilla to bowl with melted butter. Using wooden spoon, stir in flour mixture until just combined. Make a well in the center and beat in your egg and egg yolk until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Arrange 2 tablespoon portions 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake cookies at 375 until golden brown and still puffy, and edges have begun to set but centers are still soft, about 10 -12 minutes.
