the best cranberrry-chocolate oatmeal cookies
I made these with my grandchildren this Christmas and we added frosting and Christmas sprinkles and they all declared them THE BEST! That's why I call them" The best" cookies!!

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup packed, light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 1-1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch salt
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped fine
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
How To Make the best cranberrry-chocolate oatmeal cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In lg bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Step 2In another lg bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda and a pinch of salt. Add 1/2 cup dry mix to butter mix, mix well. Add remaining dry mix to butter mix and mix well.

Step 3Stir in dried cranberries, walnuts and chocolate chips. Drop dough by tablespoon onto baking sheets, about 3" apart. Bake about 10 mins, or until light golden brown. I slightly melt a little cream cheese frosting in the microwave and drizzle the cookies, but they're just as great without the frosting.
