This is one of many “NO BAKE” recipes that I keep in my recipe stash. Who doesn’t love a recipe that is short, quick and resulting in something scrumptious? Really you can’t go wrong by stirring something into melted chocolate or in this case a mixture of white chocolate and butterscotch.You can find me elsewhere too. Ingredients

  • 1 package almond bark or white chocolate waffers (12 oz.)
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips (6 oz.)
  • 16 ounces dry roasted peanuts
  • 3 cups potato stix (4 oz.)

How To Make texas tumbleweed candy

  • Step 1
    In a microwave oven or in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the bark and the chips together. Stir with a heatproof spatula or wooden spoon to combine.
  • Step 2
    Mix in the nuts and potato sticks, adding additional potato sticks if desired.
  • Step 3
    Drop by the spoonful onto waxed paper and cool completely.
  • Step 4
    Store the in an airtight container.
  • Step 5
    Options: You can use whatever flavor chocolates you like. Try swapping out the butterscotch for peanut butter. Or change from white chocolate to milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Try using a different nut. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
