I can never get enough of these cookies. They are very "almond" in taste with lots of butter flavor, soft in texture, and a delightful cookie to savor! They also look very appealing with the swirl of food color flowing through the cookie. The important thing to remember is DO NOT OVER BAKE. Add a glaze and sugar sprinkles and you have a beautiful cookie! Great for the holidays. You may need to make a double batch as they do not last long.
