Summer time lemon-cream cheese cookies

- 16.5 oz pkg refrigerated sugar cookie dough, brought to room temp.
- 3 oz
- cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c
- 3 tsp
- lemon zest
- 1-1/2 c
- powdered sugar
- 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice
How to Make Summer time lemon-cream cheese cookies
- 1set oven at 350, lay down parchment paper onto cookie sheets. When dough is pliable, use hands to break the dough up.
- 2Mix in cream cheese, flour and 2 tsp lemon zest. Shape into 36-1" balls. Place balls on baking sheets. Bake 12-14 mins or until edges are light golden brown. Let cookies cool.
- 3In medium bowl, stir powdered sugar w/ lemon juice until smooth. Frost cookies. Sprinkle cookies w/remaining lemon zest. Very refreshing cookies!!
