Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks

How To Make soft chocolate chunk cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Melt the butter and add the sugars, vanilla, and egg and beat with a mixer until well incorporated.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle the flour, baking soda, and salt over top and mix well with a spoon. Stir in the chocolate chunks.
  • Step 3
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll the cooking dough into 9 balls. Place on the baking sheet.
  • Step 4
    Bake 9 to 11 minutes just until starting to brown. Do not over cook. Remove and let cool. Enjoy.
