Ingredients
- 3/4 cup 3/4 cup butter or margarine, soften (i never use margarine, but it's in the cookbook) ick!
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup carnation or borden's evaporated milk
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 ounce chopped walnuts
How To Make soft chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Cream together margarine or butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder together, Mix alternating flour and evaporated milk into butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 350* until lightly golden brown on bottoms and sides.
