An old time favorite. These cookies are rolled into balls and when baked, spread to make perfectly round cookies.

Ingredients

1 c
margarine
2 c
sugar
2
eggs
2 3/4 c
flour
1 tsp
vanilla
2 tsp
cream of tartar
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
cinnamon

How to Make Snickerdoodle cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cream margarine and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla.
  • 2Blend in flour, cream of tartar and baking soda.
  • 3Mix well. Roll into small balls, size of large marbles. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  • 4Dip cookie balls into this mixture until well coated. Bake on ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheets until lightly browned about 10 to 12 minutes in a preheated oven 350 degrees oven.
