An old time favorite. These cookies are rolled into balls and when baked, spread to make perfectly round cookies.

    cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Snickerdoodle cookies


  1. Cream margarine and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla.
  2. Blend in flour, cream of tartar and baking soda.
  3. Mix well. Roll into small balls, size of large marbles. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Dip cookie balls into this mixture until well coated. Bake on ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheets until lightly browned about 10 to 12 minutes in a preheated oven 350 degrees oven.
