An old time favorite. These cookies are rolled into balls and when baked, spread to make perfectly round cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

How To Make snickerdoodle cookies

  • Step 1
    Cream margarine and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Blend in flour, cream of tartar and baking soda.
  • Step 3
    Mix well. Roll into small balls, size of large marbles. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  • Step 4
    Dip cookie balls into this mixture until well coated. Bake on ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheets until lightly browned about 10 to 12 minutes in a preheated oven 350 degrees oven.
