This recipe came off a bag of sugar a few years ago. They have healthy ingredients and taste good too! My husband Scott was a kids' soccer coach several years before I saw this recipe, but the name is just a coincidence and I've never made them for an actual sports team. :)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 package chocolate chips
  • ICING
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk

How To Make scott's soccer practice bars

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Step 2
    Cream butter and sugars.
  • Step 3
    Add egg and peanut butter and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Stir in baking soda, salt, flour, and ostmeal.
  • Step 5
    Press into a 9"x13" baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
  • Step 6
    Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 7
    Mix icing ingredients and drizzle over bars.
  • Step 8
    Cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
