How to Make SCOTCH SHORTBREAD COOKIES

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Work in flour.
  3. If dough is crumbly, mix in 1 to 2 tbsp. soft butter.
  4. In a greased cookie sheet, pat out all of the dough mixture. Prick with a fork.
  5. Bake 20 to 30 minutes (until edges are browning).
  6. Cool. cut into 1 inch squares to serve.
