Ingredients For russian tea balls

  • 2 c
    butter, softened
  • 4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 c
    walnuts, chopped
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 4 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make russian tea balls

  • 1
    Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla til fluffy and light.
  • 2
    Mix together flour and salt, and add to creamed mixture. Stir in the nuts.

    Shape into 1" balls and place 1 1/2" apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 20 min at 325 degrees.

    Cool on cookie rack and then roll in powdered sugar.
