  • 1 c
    butter salted (softened)
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    white corn meal
  • 1/4 tsp
  • To dredge

How to Make Ricky’s Amazing Crack Cookies


  1. Preheat over 350 degrees
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or sprayed tin foil. Set aside
  3. In a large mixing bowl beat butter with electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add in 1/2 c sugar until fluffy then add vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour cornmeal and salt. Gradually add to that butter mix and beat until a cohesive ball forms.
  5. Roll into tablespoon size ball and place 1 inch apart on baking sheet. Flatten each with the palm of your hand.
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly brown.
  7. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet and then dredge in the sugar until coated. Let cool on baking rack.
  8. Makes 3 dozen
