ricky’s amazing crack cookies
These are my sister’s famous crack cookies. Yummo!!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter salted (softened)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup white corn meal
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- To dredge - sugar
How To Make ricky’s amazing crack cookies

Step 1Preheat over 350 degrees

Step 2Line baking sheet with parchment paper or sprayed tin foil. Set aside

Step 3In a large mixing bowl beat butter with electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add in 1/2 c sugar until fluffy then add vanilla.

Step 4In a separate bowl, combine flour cornmeal and salt. Gradually add to that butter mix and beat until a cohesive ball forms.

Step 5Roll into tablespoon size ball and place 1 inch apart on baking sheet. Flatten each with the palm of your hand.

Step 6Bake 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly brown.

Step 7Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet and then dredge in the sugar until coated. Let cool on baking rack.

Step 8Makes 3 dozen
