Ingredients For rice krispy peanut butter slices

  • 10 oz
    bag of mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    peanut butter
  • 5 1/2 c
    rice krispies
  • 1 1/3 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate,or butterscotch, or mint,or
  • 34 c
    peanut butter chips

How To Make rice krispy peanut butter slices

    Line a 10x15-inch baking pan with wax paper and spray it a lot with non stick butter spray for cooking. Set aside.

    In a large mirco wave safe bowl combine the marshmallows,butter and peanut butter and microwave at 30 second intervals stirring until smooth. Remove from microwave and stir in the rice krispies.Mix well and spread mixture quickly on the prepared pan. Coat hands with butter spray and press out the mixture is pressed evenly and tightly.Set aside.

    Melt together the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in the micro wave at 30 second intervals, stirring until smooth in between cooking. Do not over melt or the chips will burn.

    Spread the melted peanut butter mixture over the rice krispies.Can spread on non-stick foil and roll easyl Roll the mixture into one long roll-starting at the short side.(10-inch side)-lifting with the wax paper(like for a jelly roll). Roll tightly. Chill for 30 minutes.

    Slice and serve. Can be kept chilled for crunchy or leave at room temperature for gooey.
