Ingredients

  • 1 c
    shortening
  • 2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3 1/2 c
    flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • Pinches
    raisins

How to Make Raisin Drop Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream together first 3 ingredients with whisk
  2. Add salt, vanilla, milk... Whisk into batter...
  3. Add flour and baking powder, stir with spoon until thick batter is formed
  4. Spoon generously onto cookie sheet, 6-8 cookies per sheet
  5. Place raisins in the middle of each cookie (6-10 raisins)
  6. Bake 15 minutes (swapping trays half way through) at 350° In Preheated oven
