Recently found this idea in a Better Homes & Garden "MixingBowl.com" magazine. ["Easiest Cookies Ever" by Rob Barrett]. Make as many (or as few) at a time, as you wish! Great recipe for "time in the kitchen" w/your kids or grandkids. The cookies are easy to store...great to give as a gift in a treat bag, tied w/a ribbon. Certainly a simple, yummy, sweet-n-salty treat!

Ingredients

  • - 12 mini pretzel twists
  • - 12 hershey kisses
  • - 12 mint-flavored m&m's
  • - parchment-lined cookie sheet

How To Make pretzel-kiss-m&m treats

  • Step 1
Pre-heat oven @ 350-degrees F. Place pretzels on prepared cookie sheet. Place a Hershey Kiss on top of each pretzel. Bake 2 minutes, or 'til Kiss begins to glisten. Remove from oven; push 1 M&M candy down into middle of each Kiss. Cool on wire rack 'til firm & set.
  • Step 2
You may use any combination of Hershey Kisses, along w/any flavored M&M. Our favorite combinations are either this recipe (w/mint M&M & milk chocolate Kiss), or we LOVE dark chocolate Kisses w/Raspberry flavored M&M...soooo good!!! For one small batch, we dipped the pretzels in "white" chocolate, placed them in fridge for 20 minutes...put Kisses on top, and continued w/recipe as directed...worked out great!
  • Step 3
You can find a nice sized bag (can't remember how many ounces) of mint or raspberry M&M's down the candy isle of most grocery stores...found that they're cheapest @ Wal-Mart.
