This is another amazing recipe I found in that cookbook my mother put together for the church so many years ago. This one comes from Barbara Martin. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup persimmon pulp
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup raisins
How To Make persimmon orange delights

Step 1Cream butter and sugar lightly, then add next 4 ingredients. Mix and sift all dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture. Fold in nuts and raisins. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
