This is my husbands favorite cookie. For a breakfast cookie I will add raisins, you can also add chocolate chips if you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c
    peanut butter
  • 6 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    (optional) raisins or chocolate chips

How to Make PeanutButter Oatmeal Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Add Butter, White sugar and Brown sugar in mixer and mix well.
  2. Add eggs and continue mixing. I mix until mixture starts to get fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla, soda and peanut butter and mix thourghly.
  4. Slowly add oatmeal. At this time if you wish you can add Chocolate Chips or Raisins.
  5. Bake at 375 degree for 15 minutes (I bake a little longer since my oven runs cool)
