peanut butter round ups

A lady I worked with back in the early 80's made and brought these into work. They are the first peanut butter cookies I really liked. Hope you enjoy them too.

Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening or butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup rolled oats
How To Make peanut butter round ups

Step 1Cream together sugars, shortening and peanut butter. Add the eggs

Step 2Mix flour, salt, baking soda and oats. Add to creamed mixture.

Step 3Form balls with about 1/2 tablespoonful dough. Roll in white sugar. Place on baking sheet and flatten each with a fork in a crisscross pattern.

Step 4Bake at 350 approximately 12 minutes.
