peanut butter nutella swirl cookies
These are great fun, look pretty and taste great too! Nutella is one of those treats for myself when I'm wanting to scarf down every bit of chocolate in a 3 square mile radius! One of these cookies can usually quiet the beast and only adds 115 calories to my day!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seed, optional
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/4 cup nutella
How To Make peanut butter nutella swirl cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine margarine, peanut butter, both sugars, egg and vanilla. Stir until well blended.

Step 3Stir in flour, ground flax, baking soda, and salt. Combine well.

Step 4Drizzle Nutella on top of dough. Swirl with knife edge. Do not over-blend! Chill dough in refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

Step 5Roll dough into balls and place on prepared cookie sheet. Using a fork dipped in granulated sugar, press down on dough balls to form a criss- cross pattern.

Step 6Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on pan for 2-3 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.
