My little boys are cookie monsters!!
They love cookies cookies cookies.I got the inspiration for this cookie from a recipe I saw online and changed it up a bit. They like moist chewy cookies and love m&m's and chocolate chips. They really love this cookie.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 stick
    butter flavored shortening=1 cup
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    peanut butter(i used creamy but if you like peanuts you could use chunky)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 4 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1
    medium bag of m&m's (14 oz bag)

How to Make Peanut Butter Cookie Monster Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Mix together the dry ingredients..flour , salt, and baking soda and set aside
  3. Cream together shortening, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, peanut butter and milk. Beat together until smooth. Add Dry ingredients slowly .Stir in Chocolate chips and M&M's by hand.
  4. I use a cookie scoop but a rounded tablespoon is about right. Form a ball, place on a non-stick cookie sheet and press down with a fork.
  5. Bake 8-11 minutes depending on how well done you like your cookies. Allow to cool on a cookie rack
