oh snap! gingersnap shake with a kick

I got one of my random after dinner sweet tooth attacks tonight but couldn't decide what I wanted. Cookies? Nah. Ice cream? Nope. That little bottle of Bailey's hiding in the back of the fridge? Hmmmm...no. Wait! How about all three?!? 5 minutes later, my husband and I were enjoying one of tastiest shakes we've ever had. Gotta love those random concoctions. =D

Ingredients

  • 2 cups half and half (or milk)
  • 16 - gingersnap cookies
  • 4 large scoops of french vanilla or coffee ice cream (more or less, i wasn't really measuring for this part lol)
  • 2 - shots irish cream liqueur

How To Make oh snap! gingersnap shake with a kick

  • Step 1
    Blend cookies and half and half together until cookies are completely crushed.
  • Step 2
    Add ice cream and liqueur, and blend until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Fancy it up with some whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, cookie crumbs, a piece of candied ginger, or even all of the above.
