I got this recipe from my friend, Caroline. She was on the Kids Baking Championship and made these cookies on the show! They are really easy and super impressive!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 2 - heaping tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- - powdered sugar, for dusting
How To Make oatmeal lace cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix everything together using a hand mixer until combined.

Step 2Put in freezer for 10 minutes.

Step 3Scoop portions of dough, using a cookie scoop, onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. (6 cookies per sheet)

Step 4Bake until golden brown, about 7 minutes.

Step 5Let cool completely and peel of parchment. Dust with powdered sugar and eat!
