I got this recipe from my friend, Caroline. She was on the Kids Baking Championship and made these cookies on the show! They are really easy and super impressive!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    oatmeal
  • 2
    heaping tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • ·
    powdered sugar, for dusting

How to Make Oatmeal Lace Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix everything together using a hand mixer until combined.
  2. Put in freezer for 10 minutes.
  3. Scoop portions of dough, using a cookie scoop, onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. (6 cookies per sheet)
  4. Bake until golden brown, about 7 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely and peel of parchment. Dust with powdered sugar and eat!
