Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup margarine, softened
- 1 - egg plus 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon thawed frozen apple juice concentrate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked quick oats
- 1/2 cup chopped dates or raisins
How To Make oatmeal-date cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly coat cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray; Set aside.

Step 2Beat sugar and margarine in large bowl. Add egg white, apple juice and vanilla; Mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; Mix well. Stir in oats and dates. Drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.

Step 3Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are very lightly browned. (Centers should still be soft)Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets. Remove to wire rack and cool completely. 65 calories 11 carbohydrates 2 grams of fat 1 gram of fiber
