Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1c shortening
- 1 large egg
- 1/4c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1tsp cinnamon, ground
- 1/2tsp cloves, ground
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4c chopped pecans
- 2 1/2c old fashioned oats
- 1/4c water
- 1 1/2 sweetened applesauce
- 1c craisins or raisins

Step 1mix all ingredients, well, spray cookie sheet with pam by tbsp to pan 12 at a sheet, bake 350 for 10 mins makes 3-4 dozen very good -
Step 2you can make carrot cake cookies follow same recipe but add 1 c shredded carrots, and 1 c applesauce and 1/2 crushed pineapple, and follow same baking 350- 10 mins 3-4 dozen cookies
