Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups oats, uncooked
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- dash salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup craisins
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup sugar
- 3.4 ounces cheesecake instant pudding mix
- 1/2 tablespoon imitation vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
How To Make oatmeal craisin cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In large bowl, combine flour, oats, soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. Place Craisins in small bowl and cover with boiling water for about 10 minutes to soften; drain.

Step 2In large mixing bowl, combine butter, shortening, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla beat until creamy. Add eggs and mix well. Gradually, add dry ingredients. Add drained Craisins and walnuts.

Step 3Use a cookie scoop or drop by rounded tablespoons. Flatten slightly with fork. Bake 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheets for 1 minute. Remove and cool completely on wire racks. Makes 4 dozen.
