This is a great recipe handed down from my grandmother. I make this recipes with my kids. They love helping with this and the best part they love eating them. They also bring the extra cookies to school and share them with there friends and teachers. They always come back wanting more!

Ingredients
- 5 cups quaker oatmeal
- 4 cups gold medal all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 4 - eggs (5 if small)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 sticks salted butter (leave out 2 hours to soften)
- 2 packages (16-oz) chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces
- 1 1/2 cups walnut pieces
How To Make oatmeal chocolate chip nut cookies

Step 1Combine all ingredients and roll into small balls the size of golf ball. Place on cookie sheet a couple of inches apart. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes.

Step 2If you would like peanut butter chips. Use 1 package (16-oz) peanut butter chips and 1 package (16-oz) chocolate chips. Instead of 2 packages of chocolate chips
