oatmeal butter pecan cookies
I love making these delicious cookies at Christmas time for my fiance, family and co-workers. They are so popular!

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup butter flavor shortening
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 11 ounces butterscotch chips
How To Make oatmeal butter pecan cookies

Step 1Pre-Heat oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2Cream together sugars, butter and shortening. Add eggs, vanilla and oats.

Step 3In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Add to oats mixture 1/3 at a time and stir well.

Step 4Add pecans and butterscotch morsels to cookie dough and stir well.

Step 5Form into balls and bake on cookie sheet for 10 – 12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Makes 3 dozen.
