Ingredients

  • 1 stick
    butter, room temperature
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    peanut butter, creamy
  • 2 1/2 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make No-Cook Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter slowly over medium heat. Combine sugar and milk. Add to melted butter and blend completely with whisk. Bring to a rolling boil, and let boil 1 minute only.
  2. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Add oats and mix thoroughly. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper and let set until firm. NOTE: old fashioned oats will make a chewier cookie.
