This simple cookie is the "Crown Jewel" of all the family favorites. Through the years family members would just ask for these as their Christmas present! I like to use European, higher fat content butter. It is more like the butter my grandmother would have used all those years ago in Wisconsin.

How to Make Muz's Oatmeal Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix ingredients together like you would do with a pie crust.
  3. Roll into 1" balls, and place a bit apart on the cookie sheet.
  4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
