Mrs. Lloyd's Peanut Butter Goodies

Nancy Gregory

This is a no-bake recipe from the "Cafeteria Lady" when I was in elementary and high school. There was a lot of lunch room bargaining and trading to get an extra one in those days! AND you will want a big glass of milk, cuz you will be eating more than one! :)

How to Make Mrs. Lloyd's Peanut Butter Goodies

  1. Bring butter, sugar, milk and salt to a boil.
Boil 10 minutes (VERY important to follow this!).
  2. Add peanut butter, vanilla and oats.
  3. Spread on cookie sheet and cool.
    Cut into squares.
  4. I use a jelly roll pan and make 1"x1" squares, as these tend to be rich, but SO good.
