mrs. lloyd's peanut butter goodies
This is a no-bake recipe from the "Cafeteria Lady" when I was in elementary and high school. There was a lot of lunch room bargaining and trading to get an extra one in those days! AND you will want a big glass of milk, cuz you will be eating more than one! :)

- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 cups rolled oats
How To Make mrs. lloyd's peanut butter goodies
-
Step 1Bring butter, sugar, milk and salt to a boil. Boil 10 minutes (VERY important to follow this!).
-
Step 2Add peanut butter, vanilla and oats.
-
Step 3Spread on cookie sheet and cool. Cut into squares.
-
Step 4I use a jelly roll pan and make 1"x1" squares, as these tend to be rich, but SO good.
