melt in your mouth cookies
These are a soft delicate sugar cookie perfect for a mother daughter tea, or with green and red sprinkles for a xmas luncheon. I got this recipe recently from my cousin Margaret, but it was originally one of my Grandma Kaphingst's Christmas cookie recipes.. These are Oh so delicious.

Ingredients
- 2 - egg yolks
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 cup butter
How To Make melt in your mouth cookies

Step 1Cream together butter, yolks,vanilla and powdered sugar.

Step 2Gradually add cream of tartar, baking soda, and flour.

Step 3Roll into balls, place on cookie sheet and press down with fork.

Step 4Sprinkle with red and green sugar.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
