These are a soft delicate sugar cookie perfect for a mother daughter tea, or with green and red sprinkles for a xmas luncheon. I got this recipe recently from my cousin Margaret, but it was originally one of my Grandma Kaphingst's Christmas cookie recipes.. These are Oh so delicious.

Ingredients

2 - egg yolks
1 cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 cup butter

How To Make melt in your mouth cookies

Step 1

Cream together butter, yolks,vanilla and powdered sugar.

Step 2

Gradually add cream of tartar, baking soda, and flour.
Step 3

Roll into balls, place on cookie sheet and press down with fork.
Step 4

Sprinkle with red and green sugar.
Step 5

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
