megan's "take 5" cookies
This is what happens when you alter a potato chip cookie with pretzels added to a chocolate chip cookie. Also, when you realize you are out of vanilla, and use the caramel extract instead...LOL. Hubby decided it was a Take 5 cookie, his favorite candy, with the exception of no peanut butter. Maybe I just might add peanut butter frosting in a later recipe! :)

- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 cups butter
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons caramel extract
- 4 medium eggs
- 24 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- 4 cups mini twist pretzels, broken up
