Meema's Hello Dolly Bars

This was a recipe given to me by a southern Meema and I have cherished the memory of making it over the years. One dish, simple desert.

  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    graham crackers, crushed
  • 1 c
    coconut, shredded
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk

How to Make Meema's Hello Dolly Bars


  1. Melt 1 stick butter in 9 x 9 in pan in oven or microwave. Do not stir below ingredients, add in order given.
    Once melted add graham crackers, then shredded coconut, then chocolate chips, then chopped pecans. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the top of above ingredients.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until edges are just golden. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Refrigerate.
