This was a recipe from my childhood friend's Mom. It is a simple but delicious cookie. It brings back so many good memories for me.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    crushed walnuts
  • 1/4 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2
    square unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How to Make May's Walnut Clusters

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Stir together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in melted chocolate. Add the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the walnuts. Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes....no longer.
